Financial donations to families of the victims of a wild elephant attack in Mahawilachchiya

Mrs. Lovina Charles helped give a financial donation to the families of two villagers who died due to a wild elephant attack in Mahawilachchiya recently. Mrs. Sunitha Chandrani, a staff member of our office, arranged to give money to the families of the victims Chandrawathi and Semasinghe on 05th of April, 2023.

Mahawilachchiya village, located on the border of Wilpaththu sanctuary, is constantly attacked by wild elephants. Due to the elephant menace, which still has no proper solution, such disasters are regularly reported. Our Institute, which is constantly associated with the village of Mahawilachchiya, takes care of the families in the event of such calamities.
