The Mahawilachchiya Education Centre, which is always committed to creating a generation of children who give priority to Sri Lankan cultural and religious activities, had arranged a Sinhala and Tamil New Year (Avurudu) celebration this year as well.
A grandly organized New Year celebration was held for the preschool children of Mahawilachchiya Education Centre’s Kindergarten Preschool. A number of events including the Avurudu table, traditional Avurudu games and more were organized for the children.
At the end of the ceremony, gifts were distributed to the winners of the contests that were held. The event was organized by the teachers of the Kindergarten Preschool of Mahawilachchiya Education Centre.
